Many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist, so we have created a comfortable, calm atmosphere for our patients. Our treatment rooms feature natural sunlight and a pleasant view of the mountains. You can watch TVs mounted on the ceiling during your procedure. For patients with extreme nervousness, we have several sedation options, including nitrous oxide and oral sedation.
If you have insurance with one of the companies we are in network with, we will file your claim for you. If you have another insurance company, we will gladly file your insurance claim as an out-of-network provider. Please prepare to pay your co-pay or deductible when you visit. We accept assignment of benefits, which means that your insurance provider can reimburse us directly for their portion of your balance. If your carrier does not reimburse us the expected amount, we will adjust your balance accordingly. For answers to your questions about dental insurance, please call us.
Our office accepts cash, checks, and credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. If you need financial assistance, we offer affordable outside financing with CareCredit. If this interests you, please contact our office at 435-649-4343 and speak with Lindsay, as she is always happy to help with your financial matters. In this day and age, we know that deciphering your insurance benefits can be confusing. We can also help you with any insurance concerns. Our office team is familiar with most insurance plans and will process the necessary paperwork for you.
With modern dentistry, almost anything is possible. One-visit crowns are a reality that can make your life a little bit easier. We use CEREC technology to create 3D images of dentition, then with an in-office computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), we mill a custom, permanent, lifelike crown. The crown is made of beautiful porcelain that will match your existing tooth color.
We recommend that patients with good oral health schedule a checkup and hygiene visit twice each year. If you need more frequent visits, we’ll let you know. Checkups are important because, even if you don’t notice any pain or problems with your teeth, we may find early signs of potential problems. For instance, demineralization is a precursor to decay, oral cancer often goes undetected until the later stages, and gum disease can be very stealthy. At your hygiene appointment, we’ll clean plaque, tartar, and hardened food particles from your teeth. We’ll also make sure your gums are healthy and strong.
Bleeding is usually a sign of a problem. When gums bleed, the cause usually stems from the patient brushing too hard or from early-stage gum disease, called gingivitis. We can consult with you on the proper toothbrush and pressure for safe, effective daily oral care. If your gums show signs of gum disease, we may recommend a deep hygiene treatment to stop the disease and return your gums to good health. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss for American adults, and it has been linked to many overall health problems, including stroke, heart attack, and respiratory problems. Untreated, gum disease can escalate to create a host of problems and significant oral damage, so call for an assessment now. We will help you keep your teeth and gums healthy for life!
